What sets me apart

Understanding the design process

Many years of working on different projects have taught me how to listen and ask questions in order to understand my client’s needs and set the right objectives; how to generate and analyze ideas; choose the appropriate print and/or digital medium; present the creative and effectively manage revisions and production.

Intuition

“Intuition does not come to an unprepared mind” ~ Albert Einstein

Research, reasoning, following the design process and a healthy dose of intuition are the building blocks of my projects. Intuition is the ability to understand something instinctively and it allows me to make design choices with confidence.

Commitment

I am committed to the success of my clients. I strive to find the best ways to represent their company and tell their story, so they can engage, connect and grow.

I am originally from Bulgaria. I grew up in an artist’s family and have been surrounded by art and creatives since early childhood. However, I had diverse interests and graduated the Medical University of Varna, Bulgaria with a master’s degree in Health Care Management.

After moving to the United States, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Communications from Suffolk University. I took courses in professional writing, media relations, and crafting attention-getting, thought-provoking campaigns. Through my education there, I became interested in brand identity development and started taking graphic design classes in addition to my major.

I was hired as a full-time graphic designer immediately after graduation by Conventures Inc. I continued my education by taking web design and development evening classes at the Rhode Island School of Design.

I welcome opportunities to learn new skills, techniques and adopt new technology. The world around us is constantly changing and I belive learning is a life-long journey.
